Chuck Kuoni has more than 25 years in “C-suite” roles as well as being an advisor to company management teams and their boards on complex governance issues. He has also been a financial advisor to lenders (including large lender groups) and creditor committees in a wide range of turnaround and debt restructuring situations. Chuck has worked across a wide range of industries with particular emphasis on healthcare, retail, and manufacturing. His healthcare areas include physician practices, skilled nursing, CCRCs, contract pharmaceuticals development, medical billing as well as a large hospital.

Representative Engagements

for a 540-store retail chain in which he oversaw the Company’s bankruptcy filing, the sale of its assets to another retailer and a large distribution to the unsecured creditors.


of a multi-faceted NYSE healthcare company where he led significant revenue cycle improvement efforts in the emergency room and government contracting business units. 

Interim President

of an operator of a chain of 40 convenience stores. Operated the business for the benefit of the private equity firm owner until the operations could be sold. 

Interim CFO

of a manufacturer of tissue paper from recycled paper scrap. Oversaw integration of acquisition of processing subsidiary, cost containment and monthly reporting to private equity owners. 


of a subsidiary of a NYSE company that manufactured roll forming equipment and duct manufacturing lines. Oversaw the company operations, including union contract negotiations and a Chapter 11 filing to deal with environmental issues and related litigation.
