Cory has extensive experience in finance and accounting with both private and public companies.  He has advised clients in M&A, financial planning and analysis, restructuring, corporate development, and other strategic planning matters for growth opportunities and financial improvement purposes.  Cory has experience across multiple sectors including energy, oilfield services, technology, and manufacturing.

Representative Engagements
Oil & Gas

Oversaw the finance and accounting functions for two startup PE backed E&P companies including acquisition & divestiture, accounting, financial planning & analysis, and strategic planning functions.

Oilfield Services

Advised several clients in various FP&A, corporate planning, and capital raising aspects including building 3 statement financial models for management, investors, and lenders and preparing 13-week cash flow models to monitor and manage liquidity and working capital needs.

Manufacturing/Technology

Advised investment firm with M&A services including developing a 3-statement financial model, analyzing the factors driving EBITDA, and providing risk analysis on the processes and procedures surrounding R&D and inventory.

Agribusiness

Advised CFO by providing FP&A services over an extended time frame, developing budget and forecasting tools and models to report to management and the board as well as developing long-term planning models to initiate a sell-side divestiture.

Deal Advisory

Performed buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory services, including analyzing target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, potential liabilities and risks which impact valuation, and analysis of valuation model input assumptions.
