Executive Advisor

to a NASDAQ-traded provider of electronic-claims aggregation and processing services for the healthcare industry. Guided company for 12 months, accomplishing divestiture of two business units and achieving positive monthly EBITDA for the first time in over five years. Secured DIP financing from senior lender and led company to a bankruptcy (363) auction which yielded more than 2x ‘stalking horse’ bid after only 48 days post-petition. Auction yielded sufficient proceeds to provide distribution of approximately 87% to general unsecured creditors.

Brokered $16MM in Mezzanine Financing

for privately held spin-off of Polaroid, allowing company to achieve launch of first internally developed product through major chain of retail outlets.

Transformed a Small Business

in the entry-security/access-control industry as COO/CFO by establishing a strategic framework for the senior management team to define its mission, goals, supporting objectives, and key metrics to measure progress. Led company to a revenue CAGR of 19.4% over five years and a number-one market-share position in all of North America

Financial Executive

for electric-utility Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) newly formed to assume operation of and manage $10B in transmission-grid assets of major electricity providers among 10 states in the mid-west United States. Established core business practices, legal/contract management, liability management, and insurance compliance.

Directed the Acquisition and Integration

of a regional ISP with its acquisition, resulting in an operational footprint spanning six states. Initiated and guided company through consolidation and subsequent cost-cutting program that reduced payroll by 30% and network-operating costs by 33% within eight months. Restructured the executive team, recruited and hired new CFO.
