Davis brings 25+ years of experience addressing a broad range of accounting and finance challenges. His career began in public accounting where he had roles in audit, tax and consulting disciplines. He furthered his expertise when he went on to serve as finance and IT leader for a closely-held group of 21 companies as they grew from $11 million to $43 million in revenues. He also has experience in forensics in which he has detected embezzlement schemes and other improper activities which exploited weaknesses in a company’s internal controls.

Along the way, Davis has become known for his ability to quickly grasp large amounts of data and connect the dots between accounting details and business strategy. He has historically attained significant gains in productivity when he is teamed with sales, production and other operating leaders of an organization.

Debtor Financial Advisor

Assisted the court-appointed Receiver, Trustee or CRO in addressing financial challenges and restructuring the balance sheet, both in and out of court, in various industries.

Turnaround Planning

Supported multiple clients with managing cash and operations, while analyzing historical performance and helping craft a strategic turnaround plan.

Forensic Accounting

Managed and supported engagements to discover the existence of, and ultimately recover, stolen assets in financial fraud cases.

Corporate Controller

Led the accounting team for multi-state retail operation and served as the CFO’s “SWAT Team” to lead problem-solving efforts in fast-growth environment.

Interim CFO/Controller

Served in variety of such roles from the Canadian border to the Mexican border, in businesses ranging from seafood to farming to publishing.
