Ben Gonzalez Joins Harney Partners
Harney Partners, a national corporate turnaround and restructuring advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Ben Gonzalez has joined the firm as Managing Director to provide strategic leadership and direction to client advisory engagements throughout the country with a focus on the DFW metroplex.
Ben has a 35+ year career specializing in advising financially distressed companies and their stakeholders — and helping them to identify and evaluate strategic alternatives to recapitalize and optimize their capital structures. He has advised bank syndicates, bondholders’ committees, company boards, operating companies, and creditors’ committees in both in-court and out-of-court restructuring transactions. Additionally, he has experience working as a startup CFO and has served on several private company boards.

Prior to Harney Partners, Ben was Managing Director and Partner at MML Capital Advisors, an investment banking, capital markets and restructuring firm. He has also held leadership roles at University of Texas at El Paso and several financial advisory, investment banking and consulting firms. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Texas at El Paso.
